Part- Time Dental Hygienist

Parkway Dental is looking for a part-time hygienist to join our team on Fridays! We have advanced "Latest and Greatest" modern technology including a 3D Cone Beam, Digital x-rays and nomads. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, works well with others and has a fun and radiant personality! Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning

- Take digital dental x-rays and other medical imaging as needed

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Dentrix or similar software

- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist

- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software for record keeping and scheduling

- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures

- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health principles

- Familiarity with taking vital signs and conducting patient assessments

- Experience with aseptic technique for infection control

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
